RHS Announces Advanced Placement Award Winners!
Ruston High School announced last week that 38 students garnered Advance Placement Awards for their scores on AP exams.
Anhaar Wasi was named AP Scholar with Distinction for averaging a score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scoring a 3.0 or higher on five or more of the exams.
Ten students earned AP Scholars with Honor for averaging 3.25 on all AP exams and scoring 3.0 or higher on four or more. These students are Chaz Backus, Jodi Dunbar, Austin Guillory, Siriana Kilpatrick, Grisham Locke, Thomas Rogers, Cedric Serio, Lyla Turner, Lydia Watts and Jacob Wobisch.
The remaining students were awarded AP Scholars for receive score of 3.0 or higher on three of more AP exams. These students are Garner Allen, Donovan Breeding, Kyle Caston, Biak Chin, Grantham Cline, Matthew Daulton, Marissa Davenport, Jack Elliott, Jackson Frederick, Raymond Granger, Myles Hull, Daniel Johnson, Nate Johnson, Liam Lowe, Cole Magee, Gavin McCown, Claire Nolan, Rylie Nutt, McKenzie Oakley, Laina Parkman, James Peterson, Michael Reeves, Amelia Roger, Paige Taunton, Alexis Thompson, Ashton Wick, and Brennan Youngblood.
Ruston High School was the only school in the Lincoln Parish School System to have students earn the AP accolades this year.
